Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Vegetables
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for cooking

Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
Adding Vegetables
  1. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Stir in the chopped basil and return the chicken to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken topped with the tomato and basil mixture.
