Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 pound chicken breast sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce for marinating
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup carrot sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
Aromatics
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons ginger minced
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
Finishing Touch
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves fresh
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Marinate the sliced chicken breast in soy sauce for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare all vegetables and aromatics by slicing and mincing.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas; stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar; mix well.
  6. Finally, add Thai basil leaves and stir until wilted.
Serving
  1. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
