Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  2. Mix all dry rub ingredients in a bowl and generously apply to the ribs.
Preheat the Pellet Grill
  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 225°F (107°C).
Smoke the Ribs
  1. Place the ribs on the grill grates and smoke for 3 hours.
  2. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and return to the grill for an additional 1 hour.
Finish with BBQ Sauce
  1. Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce. Cook for another 30 minutes to set the sauce.
  2. Check the internal temperature; it should reach at least 195°F (90°C) for tender ribs.
Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For best results, let the ribs marinate with the dry rub overnight in the refrigerator.
