Ingredients
  

Crispy Fries
  • 4 medium potatoes Russet or Yukon Gold
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for tossing
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika optional
Coleslaw
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage green or purple
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise for dressing
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar for tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon sugar to balance flavors
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Grilled Corn
  • 4 ears corn on the cob husked
  • 2 tablespoons butter for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste

Method
 

Crispy Fries
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the potatoes into thin strips and soak in water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
  2. Toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, and paprika. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Coleslaw
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Grilled Corn
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the corn with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
  2. Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and tender.
