Beet Greens
  • 1 bunch beet greens washed and chopped
Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

Cooking the Beet Greens
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped beet greens to the skillet, stirring to coat with oil and garlic.
  4. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the greens are wilted and tender.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice before serving.
