  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. Add the warm water, rosemary, and minced garlic to the dry ingredients. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. After the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
  6. Carefully transfer the dough to the hot Dutch oven and cover with the lid.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
