Ingredients
  

Banana Bread
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup sugar can reduce to 3/4 cup for less sweetness
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Banana Pancakes
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 medium ripe banana mashed
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
Banana Smoothie
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 1/2 cup yogurt plain or flavored
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice optional

Method
 

Banana Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Mix in the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Banana Pancakes
  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and mashed banana.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little butter.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
Banana Smoothie
  1. In a blender, combine the ripe banana, milk, yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add ice if desired and blend again until smooth.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
