Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch Fresh radishes trimmed and sliced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup White vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 2 cloves Garlic smashed
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Cucumbers sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh herbs like dill or parsley

Method
 

  1. Prepare the radishes by trimming the tops and bottoms, then slice them thinly.
  2. In a pot, combine water, sugar, vinegar, and salt. Heat until the sugar and salt dissolve.
  3. Add the garlic, red pepper flakes, carrots, cucumbers, and herbs to the mixture.
  4. Pour the brine over the radishes and other vegetables in a jar.
  5. Allow to cool, then seal and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
