- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until chunky.
- Add eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the bananas; whisk until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
- To create the marbled effect, scoop half of the batter into another bowl and stir in additional cocoa powder if desired.
- Alternate scoops of each batter into the loaf pan and swirl lightly with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes
For a more chocolatey flavor, you can add extra cocoa powder to one half of the batter. Feel free to add mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts for added texture.
