  • 4 medium habanero peppers seeds removed for less heat
  • 2 medium tomatoes diced
  • 1 small red onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 1 medium lime juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Remove the seeds from the habanero peppers and chop them roughly.
  2. In a blender, combine the chopped habaneros, diced tomatoes, red onion, minced garlic, and chopped cilantro.
  3. Add the lime juice and salt to the blender.
  4. Blend until you reach your desired consistency, either smooth or chunky.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Transfer the salsa to a bowl and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
