Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 4 cups Water Filtered or spring water
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice About 2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup For sweetness
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt Sea salt or Himalayan salt
Optional Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Water For added flavor and potassium
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda For additional electrolytes

Method
 

Mixing the Drink
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the water, lemon juice, honey or maple syrup, and salt.
  2. Whisk the mixture until the honey or syrup is fully dissolved.
  3. If using, add coconut water and baking soda, then whisk again.
  4. Pour the mixture into a bottle or pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Serve over ice and enjoy your homemade electrolyte drink!
