Ingredients

Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 6 oz crab meat cooked and shredded
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Egg Roll Wrappers
  • 10 pieces egg roll wrappers
For Frying
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the Egg Rolls
  1. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing towards you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the top corner with a little water.
Fry the Egg Rolls
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the egg rolls in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Drain and Serve
  1. Remove the egg rolls from the oil using tongs and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce.
