Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Topping
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the blueberries, lemon juice, granulated sugar, and flour. Toss gently to coat the blueberries.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture is crumbly.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Spread the blueberry mixture evenly in a baking dish. Sprinkle the oat topping over the blueberries. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbling.
Serve
  1. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
