Ingredients
  

Cake
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries washed and drained
Crumb Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method
 

Prepare the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Prepare the Crumb Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until crumbly.
  2. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the cake batter.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
