Ingredients
  

Rice and Base
  • 2 cups Jasmine Rice or any short-grain rice
Vegetables
  • 1 cup Spinach blanched
  • 1 cup Carrots julienned
  • 1 cup Zucchini julienned
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Bean Sprouts blanched
Protein
  • 1 cup Ground Beef or any protein of choice
Toppings
  • 4 large Eggs fried
  • 4 tablespoons Gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds toasted

Method
 

Prepare the Rice
  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to the rice cooker instructions.
Cook the Vegetables
  1. In a frying pan, sauté each vegetable separately with a little sesame oil until tender. Season with salt to taste.
Cook the Protein
  1. In the same frying pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Bibimbap
  1. In a bowl, place a serving of rice at the bottom. Arrange the sautéed vegetables and cooked beef on top of the rice.
  2. Top with a fried egg, a tablespoon of gochujang, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Serve
  1. Mix everything together before eating to combine the flavors.
