Ingredients

Chicken Thighs
  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
BBQ Marinade
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine BBQ sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

Grill the Chicken
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  2. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill.
  3. Grill for 6-7 minutes, then flip and grill for another 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
